CANCELLATION POLICY

  • FULL REFUND - is available for cancellations made within 48 hours of making a booking, (But ONLY IF the booking is made at least 14 days before check-in).
  • 50% REFUND - up to 7 days before check-in.
  • NO REFUND - for cancellations made within 7 days of check-in.

PLEASE NOTE -

  • This cancellation policy means that in most cases, both the business and the guest share the burden 50:50 in the event of unexpected changes to the guests travel plans.
  • All requests for the cancellation of a booking, must be communicated in writing before they will be processed.
  • A LATE CHANGE TO THE CHECK-IN DATE (WITHIN 14 DAYS OF THAT ARRIVAL), IS VIEWED AS A CANCELLATION AND A SUBSEQUENT RE-BOOKING.
  • If a booking change of date is sought (at least 14 days before original check-in date), the fee may alter slightly, depending on the rooms chosen, the number of guests, the day of the week and/or season, and you will be billed accordingly.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • These terms & conditions apply to The Berry View Pty Ltd (The Berry View), the associated bookings and the use of the motel rooms and other facilities, to the exclusion of any other party's terms and conditions.
  • The Berry View is primarily a Digital Business, and if possible, all communication and access codes will be emailed and/or texted to guests.

BOOKINGS. ·       

  • Bookings are to be made directly with The Berry View at www.theberryview.com.au
  • ALL BOOKINGS REQUIRE FULL PAYMENT TO SECURE YOUR ACCOMMODATION.
  • All prices are listed on our booking platforms and will vary slightly due to availability and seasonal fluctuations.
  • Rates quoted are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of 10% Goods and Services Tax (GST). Rates are subject to change as a result of changes you may make to your arrival and/or your departure dates and are subject to demand.
  • Please ensure you have booked for the correct number of guests.

If you would like more guests to join you, please advise asap so housekeeping has adequate time to prepare the room for your stay. Extra guests above the base rate incur a small fee. ·       

  • Discount coupons are offered, but the coupon codes must be entered at the time of booking, to receive the offered package. ·
  • Guests must be 18 years of age to enter the property, unless accompanied by an adult.
  • During the reservation process The Berry View collects personal data. These data are processed in accordance with our privacy statement and according to any applicable laws and regulations.
  • OUR CANCELLATION POLICY IS LISTED ABOVE.

ACCESS.

  • CHECK-IN: is available AFTER 3 PM on the day of arrival.

In some instances, access may be available slightly earlier, but this is entirely dependent on the cleaning schedules Our cleaners are governed by the need to carry out fully compliant COVID-19 cleans between each booking.

  • CHECK-OUT: is by BEFORE 10 AM.

GENERAL.

  • The Berry View is a non-smoking motel. This means 100% smoke free and does not permit vaping.  Failure to comply may result in a $200 cleaning fee, charged to your account.
  • Any damage to rooms, spaces, or the motel premises, caused by guests during their stay, will be charged to the guests’ account.  This also applies with missing room items, which will also be charged to the guests account on post departure.
  • Our rooms do not have any cooking facilities. We only supply a bar fridge, a kettle, a coffee pod machine and basic crockery and cutlery. All meals are available in Berry.
  • Please be aware that extra cleaning, over and above the usual time allocated to clean the rooms, will be charged.
  • Our wireless network is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express, or implied or statutory.  We do not warrant that access to our wireless network will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free at all times or will meet our guests’ requirements.  We are not responsible for the security, integrity, accuracy, or completeness of any information that our guests transmit or receive while using our wireless network.  Our wireless network is provided to our guests at our discretion. ·
  • The Berry View cannot be liable for lost, stolen or damaged items. If a guest leaves an item behind, it is their responsibility to retrieve that item. There is a $40 handling fee plus the postage fee to return any lost property.
  • Force majeure.  The Berry View does not accept liability or pay any compensation for any breach of these terms and conditions or delay or failure to provide services contracted due to circumstances beyond our control, such as acts of GOD (natural) disaster, pandemic or epidemic, fires, (acts of) war, terrorism, strikes, riots, civil disorder, government regulations, industrial disputes, adverse weather conditions or any other exceptional and catastrophic event, circumstances or emergency, delays in transportation, failure of services or inability to obtain any necessary information or consent from authority.·
  • The Berry View enforces a no-noise and no-party policy. ·
  • The Berry View is set in a quiet rural residential location with neighbours near the property.
  • GUESTS ARE ASKED TO REMAIN AWARE OF THE COMFORT OF NEIGHBOURS AND OTHER GUESTS, AND TO KEEP NOISE LEVELS DOWN INSIDE AND OUTSIDE OF THE ROOMS.

COVID-19.

  • Check-In times are governed by our COVID-19 cleaning regime.
  • We supply a bottle of HAND SANITISER in each room.
  • Please use SAFE DISTANCING practices wherever possible.

In the case of guests who test positive to COVID-19, our Cancellation/Refund Policy for your booking, remains in force.

This means that in most cases, both the business, and the guest, share the burden 50:50.

We understand that neither you nor The Berry View, have any control over how the Pandemic affects the general population's day to day lives.

We, as a community, now have to live with COVID-19 as a part of our daily lives.

However, if your cancellation is WITHIN the non-refundable period, (less than 7 days prior to your planned check-in), we will continue the 50% refund policy up to 48 hours prior to your scheduled check-in time or allow you to use this refund as a deposit for a rescheduled booking within six calendar months of your cancelled check-in date.

If a transfer is sought, the fee may alter slightly, depending on the rooms chosen, the number of guests, the day of the week and/or season, and you will be billed accordingly.
